GW Hockey Academy

We run a range of different hockey camps for different abilities and ages. Our mission is to keep everyone happy by providing you with the best coaches in the best locations at the very best price. We focus on developing skills and decision making in an energetic and safe environment.

GW Hockey Clothing

Quality is what we pride ourselves on. Quality of clothing and quality of service to every customers individual needs. We supply teams and individuals with sweet clothing at a low cost! Always look your best when you train or play matches with GW Hockey clothing!

In the past we have supplied clothing for 4th year Ski trips, Football tournaments, Leinster U16 and U18 Boys interpros, Loreto Ladies Europeans tournament and May Fest teams!

About Geoff Walker

Geoff lives hockey. He has represented Ireland and Leinster at underage level. He is currently coaching the Leinster U16 Boys team for the third year running, St Andrews Boys and Mount Anville HC. If you don't find him on a pitch coaching or playing he's talking to coaches, ordering clothing or organising upcoming camps. He is a very ambitious individual who is determined to make a positive contribution to the sport of hockey in Ireland.

Our Coaches & Selection Policy

We work very hard to ensure only the best coaches work are at our camps.

In the past our Head Coaches have been international players and coaches such as Arul Anthoni (Malaysia 81 Caps + Ireland Men's Coach), Graham Shaw (151 Caps + Ireland U21 Boys Coach), Nikki Symmons (142 Caps + Leinster U16 Girls Coach) and Joe Brennan (45 Caps + Leinster Women's Coach).

Our coaches are minimum level 1 qualified with the Irish Hockey Association and have completed a code of ethics / child protection course with the Irish Sports Council. We have a selection procedure that ensures we only have suitable people working with us.

About Sponsorship

We are delighted to be in the position to offer sponsorship to young players who show great potential in the sport. We give players big discounts on clothing and in return we simply ask you to hand out flyers! Seem like a good deal right? If that's not enough we also run competitions every couple of months that gives sponsored players the chance to win vouchers as big as €100 to buy GW Hockey Clothing.

We currently sponsor over 30 young players nationwide and we intend on sponsoring more!
